My symapthy and prayers on the loss of your grandson...It's hard.
Many have offered hints for making t-shirt quilts, which are fun to make. My choice for interfacing is either woven or Easy-knit (both are iron-on interfacings). I used Pellon in my last t-shirt quilt, and would only do it again in a pinch, because eventually it starts letting loose, even though I did use a press sheet...I'll be doing FMG in the blocks themselves to secure everything.

I am really sorry about your grandson. Here in Kingsport,tenn we have aFun Fest every year and I made a tshirt quilt last year with all the shirts though the years. I cut the front of them out and then I sewed them in rows and I put my batting and hot air balloon fabric on the back and then I took all my leftover tshirt material and madetwo strips of squares on the front and when I was done it was really pretty-I will get my daughter to post it on here for me.
