How to quilt a tshirt quilt

Any suggestions about how to quilt the tshirt flimsy I just completed? The blocks are roughly 19" with the tshirt centers at around 15".

I did one like that. I stipled the actual tshirt and then quilted a long triangle in the triangle pieces. I have attached a picture....

I would stitch in the ditch all the seams first. I would then do a stipple in the background of the squares being careful not to stitch over the lettering. My machine does not like the stitch through the paint.

Neither does mine. When I quilted them on my DSM, I would STID first and then if there was a lot of space of empty t-shirt, get out the stencils and see if anything looks great. I might just might draw echo lines and do straight stitching to accent the angles of the block. Hope you have a good support area because t-shirt quilts are HEAVY !!

I did not quilt on the actual pictures or letters on the tshirts. That is not good. I did stiple around them and in between the letters. It actually turned out quite good. I have made 4 now.
