Oh I just love the funky Chicken quilt! And the best idea for quilting is the chicken wire! All my blocks are cut for 2 sets, I just have to start sewing them!

No the big boy is Cowboy who had to be put to sleep in February, Hemi is the replacement & a black borzoi puppy who has pretty much worn me out!
All of you will most likely be blessed with some of his black hair on your quilt blocks from me! As its impossible to avoid!
But if you all like dogs, maybe it won't matter!

PS one of these days I'll change my avatar!

Sorry about Cowboy also, hard to loose our special loved ones. Still miss my Cuddles after two years so I am doing a poodle block. Of course, it will be a bit funky because she will be wearing a beret.

Will post of course when I am done. She will be dawning fushia pink toenails, red beret with blue tag, pink rose on side and of course bling on collar. She should be real fine when done. In process of cutting out pieces.

I have been busy working on my dog blocks. I am using fabric paint to do the details for my Cocker Spaniel. I have a question for ya'all...since I've only got one made so far, should I continue to use funky colors, or would you prefer a more normal looking dog??? That is, for those who might want one?

RW...those are great blocks! I love them all...I'll let the others vote on your colors. I did Phydeaux in a variety of colors...some more "normal", some brights.
