I agree-I was surprised that there were so few posts this morning. It is a dark, dreary, rainy day in NH. I'm trying very hard not to put on the heat. I think it is against the law to run your furnace in May!!

Good Morning, Nan! Waving to you from Iowa :) I must say I am a Minnesota girl at heart - grew up in Minneapolis. Still miss the area as no family left there now. Have a good day!

Hi from Western Australia. We must be looking at different Boards, because I've been having a great time reading all the posts - well that plus the comments. If its a post that catches my eye, I read all the comments. I love this site, its better than television any day of the week.
Sorry to hear its a bit drab where you are. We had some rain yesterday, a few puddles and everything. Got all excited, then it cleared up. Its been about four months since we had any decent rain, we've almost forgotten what it looks like. What is everyone quilting at the moment? I'm finishing off a bird panel quilt. I've put pieced blocks in between the picture blocks (pictures and blocks are big - about 20" with the frames) and I've just finished the first border - 84 three and a half inch blocks, which was a real pain. What are you up to?

Yep, this is true. Just finished quilting for today. It's 10.59 pm here and just about ready for bed. Couldn't help checking the board out first though. :)

For the last three mornings, I have been very reluctant to arise, shiver my way to the coffee pot, shake my way over to the computer and shudder all the while. Yesterday, I went over to the farm and got my big fan( just in case summer ever arrives), and my ceramic heater which is now comfortably warming my rear end and legs. I can see the meter humming merrily along, but I hope not as fast as it would with the heat pump.
