Want to re-cover outdoor swing

JoAnn's has a nice selection of heavy outdoor fabric. Too bad my sewing room is a mess. I have at least six yards of of bright stripes on white. I have a black on red print, too, but I'm keeping that one.

I have redone ours twice. It is a Better Homes and Garden swing that is built very sturdy and I refuse to give in and get rid of it because of the trees, weather, and the nasty squirrels perching on it.
I went to Hancock Fabrics and purchased fabric made specifically for this. It was very simple to take off the old one and make a pattern using it. I sealed it with Atsko Silicone Water Guard Spray from Walmart. Lasted almost 3 years and then I re-did it with a different patterned fabric. Buy the fabric on sale and it doesnt hurt so much....

Years ago I macramed a porch swing. That was alot of work, and I didnt have a pattern for it only had one for lawn chairs. But I figured it out and had macramed roses out of a mauve color with green leaves and white. Took me about 5 months or so to make it. I will never do another. I wish I would have taken pictures but at the time I didnt own a camera.

As the lone Canuck dropping in here for you ... most of the suggestions won't help you much, unless you go State side to shop.
I'm from the other end of the province (West of GTA) and would head to a Len's Mill Store. So if you're up this way for some reason, then that'd be the place to head. It often has ends of lines, and sell offs ... though still good quality.
Sorry, not familiar in your area as to what you have for possibilities. Fabricland would carry it, if you have one nearby. Somewhere that carries upholstery fabric, specifically outdoor quality is where you need to go.
