Hi there One that is super simple is the 1600 the pattern is free on the internet and all you need is 40 2 1/2" strips, bali pop or jelly roll. If you look at the video one woman put the peices together in 35 mintues? I added squares and it took me 4 hours on Saturday then I added an easy border.

Check out that 10 minute quilt block, I think it's pretty cool, maybe you will too.

I'm working on this right now. I'll bet you could get it pieced in a day. To make it even faster, I'm using charm packs and using a sashing in between each block. Look at the first post on this page:

I think this tutorial on a four patch is rather nice and looks like it would make up fast.

If you like scrappy, I 'm sure you could do it that way.
Good luck!
Just have to ask about your avatar, it is gorgeous. Is it your own design or is there a pattern? I adore roosters and chickens, would love to do something like that. Many thanks.

It stands for One Block Wonder but, I'm with you...took me forever to figure it out. I really dislike acronyms. You can buy a huge book that is nothing but acronyms and there's no way in the world you could ever learn them all. My personal preference is that people don't use them because if I can't guess what they mean at first glance I skip right over what they have to say.
