Have you ever noticed, we all could have quilting spaces the size of a closet or as big as a football stadium --- and somehow we would get the space stuffed to the gills with quilting fabric, notions, machines etc.

Face facts, we qulters - on a whole - tend to be fabric-aholics. And, there is NO CURE TO DATE.

OH MY what to do what to do. BUY FABRIC> seeyalatergator

I'm not a fabric-holic; I can quilt, I mean, quit any time I want... ::hides the 5 new FQ she bought despite a personal ban on no new fabric for 6 months::

It's kind of like our purses. However large or small they are FULL! The size of my purse is in direct relationship as to what my shoulder can handle:)

funny how that works---in so many ways-
you can move from a house with 1200 square feet that you lived in happily for years- into a house with 2700 feet and ...what----it's full! still not enough storage- still need this or that space----
and then there is the whole- paying off a loan---next month last payment! yea! an extra $400 a month---but the next month comes- and there is not an extra $400 it has already found somewhere it was needed-
or the person who quits smoking and figures i will save $2500 a year- do you really? probably not- it gets spent somewhere else-
i know i am addicted to textiles- quilting is just an excuse to justify my fabric (needs) :)

Ckcowl, I did the opposite- we moved from a much larger home in Syracuse and had 2 moving vans accompany us. BIG MISTAKE!
Our home is much smaller and looking back we could have left half of the stuff!!
Never again!! :D

I bought a pin years ago that reads:

I have a weakness
I must confess it
I buy fabric
Just to possess it!
