The jelly roll didn't have a lot of variety but I never though the strips would match up making two sections. The only thing I can think of is my first sewn together strip got twisted. Would that have made the strips not varied? I still like it but just wondering why the dark blue and pinks are on one side and the greens and prints are on the other side.

It's still very pretty. When you grabbed strips, did you try to alternate colors? Might just be coincidence.

I tried to put a solid green or pink with the prints and dark and light together. I never really had a pattern going just varying contrast. I know I didn't do all pink and blue then green and print. Odd.

This sure is a fast quilt to make. I had the top completed in about an hour. It's going to be a child's play quilt. It's much bigger then I expected so I don't need borders.

I love it! It reminds me of summer and popsicles.
