I do I tell if I have a high shank or low shank machine? I have a Janome DC3018 and a Singer Quantum XL-3400? I just bought several specialty feet and I ordered low shank so I'm hoping that is what I need. Now I'm nervous....

I have Janome and it takes a low shank. I do have different model, but I have two machines and low shank it is. I thought the Singer had their own feet, but I am not sure. Sorry I can not be of more help.

Definitely low shank. I have a Janome, and there are some nice generic feet attachments out there, same quality too.

while i was searching for info on the quantum..i came across this seller on ebay..

http://cgi.ebay.com/14-PCS-LOW-SHANK...-/250783844933

she sells presser feet kits. she has good rating..but i am not sure if the prices are good or not. been a long time since i bought new feet for my janome.
i believe all Jamones are Low Shank except the 6600. not sure about the newest model out the 7700.

Thanks everybody! I just tried all the feet on and they fit!! I ordered from Nancy's Notion last week when they were 1/2 off. I got a Deluxe walking foot, a Ruffler and a Bias Binder foot. I am so excited! Thanks for your help!!!
