Does anyone have a solution for discouraging racoons from eating your corn? The corn isn't quite ready to pick and those pesky little rascals are getting it first!

A good fence.
My dad's cousin would use a shotgun for his crops.

I've heard of people using Lion droppings...the scent of it scared off more than deer and raccoons.

Don't know the answer. They sure know when the corn is about perfect for the humans!

The problem is....we live 4 miles from our garden so can't leave a hound out there. I apologize too for posting this in the wrong place...it should have gone under the general chit chat. Thanks.

I don't think a fence or a scent would keep them away... they are very clever and persistant creatures LOL
Since they are nocturnal for the most part, hard to catch at it too :D:D:D
