Hi, I love your picture of your dog. I want to do a wall hanging of a dashhound for my boss for Christmas and this is the kind that she has. How do you do the one like you did? Is it labor intensive? My boss loves seeing everything that I do. Each month I bring in my BOM for the civil war and everytime I get a top done I bring it in. You'd never think anyone would get so much pleasure from seeing them like she does. We've been doing this for 1 1/2 yrs so I figured she should get at least a wall hanging and this morning I saw a quilt that had appliqued dashhounds on it but I really like yours. Any help would be great.

That's a beautiful portrait quilt! Can't tell, but did you thread paint hair on him too? I'd definitely have to do that if I did my dog!!
