Please help me...I have my Mother's old Singer sewing machine table, just like the one above. How do you " anchor" it in the cabinet? The original machine was a drop in one when the lid was closed.
Great job you did!!! Hope I can do the same. Thank you all for your help.

To be honest, mine is not anchored. The platform has many holes in it so it will fit, but the bolts it came with were not long enough to work with my machine. For now, it is just resting inside the cabinet. The only thing I can say is make sure you have holes that line up with the holes in the bottom of your machine. If not you (or someone who can help you) will have to drill a couple. Then you'll need bolts that fit. Sorry I am not more help with this part.

Thank you, my DH isn't handy at all, he would have my machine and cabinet in pieces if I gave Jim a drill...he is a big supporter of my work though....he's the greatest!

Oops!!!!it's " him", not JIm!!!!! Oh boy!!!! His Name is Darryl!!!! Good thing he doesn't read this...but my friends do!!!thry would surely wonder!I guess I better check my notes before I send them out!!!!!
