It seems strange to me that there are phone numbers there of folks I know but have never called, nor did I know their phone numbers. Maybe I just don't understand.,

Just Google WHITE PAGES and you can get any unlisted phone number in the country.

Yes, but these people choose to list their phone number in their Contact Info on their profile page. I checked my friends and only 5 of them had their phone numbers listed...it's their choice.

Mine were only mobile and they can disarm it if they choose.

OMG I am now in the process of removing all of mine from FB. I have my grand-children on my phone and I sure as heck don't want some stranger calling them

You are so right. I just checked it out and they are there. Now how do I report this. I knew I didn't like facebook. I have had nude people send me messages
asking to be their friend. Disgusting stuff.

So this is where the scammers are getting their information!

In my local paper this week...'Grandma, I am in jail in Spain and I need money'. And the woman sent thousands of dollars!

And you do not know if the photo is really that person. Anything can be posted these days.

Carefully going to change my information.

You can use privacy so ONLY you see the contact numbers.
