Does anyone know of a good lap size patriotic quilt pattern? Free would be best but I'm will to pay for it. Thanks

Any pattern you like can be made with patriotic material. Use your favorite pattern and design something beautiful (smile).

I don't know of any pattern that says "Patriotic" I believe it is in the fabric you use

I bought a panel with an eagle in the middle and plan on doing denim and plaid flannel all around it...sure hope it turns out like I'm imagining it...

I'm planning out a patriotic wall sampler quilt - it'll be done in red/white/blue. I'm choosing 12 inch blocks from www.quilterscache.com. You could always do something like that but make it bigger.

I like this idea for a log cabin.

Did basically a pinwheel pattern a few years ago in blue/white with red accents. Came out beautifully. I did the piecing and one of my fellow ladies auxiliary memebers and quilt mentor did the hand quilting. We used it as a rallfle quilt for a state-wide meeting that we hosted. Raised a nice chunk of change. I believe anything can be patriotic based on your fabric selections.

I agree - most any pattern will work - just use patriotic colors...
