I made an I Spy quilt for my mentally impaired adult son and had enough squares left over to make a donation quilt for Quilts for Kids. My son loves his, it has all his favorite things from pizza to bowling on it.

I remember how awful it was in the hospital when my son was on chemo, so I hope the donation quilt makes a bright spot in the day for some little boy who is sick. I spy is a good way to pass the time when stuck in the hospital, and from what I understand they often don't get enough boy quilts since quilters tend to like making "girly" things.

I was collecting I spy fabrics for some time, but ended up buying some precut squares on ebay so I would finally have enough to get these done over my summer break. I pieced on my singer treadle and free motion quilted on my electric domestic machine. Thanks for looking.

They are both so bright & cheerful, I am sure they will be well loved. They are beautiful, TFS.

I like the yellow sashing and blue cornerstones you used in those quilts.

Nice!

These will definitely help someone's mind stay busy distracted from other stuff going on. :-)
