Pulling up to the location this morning 10 minutes early and there walking back to his car carring the green FW case. :(
So I get to take home a 301A !! two tone, 1956 Yeh! No accessories, and silly me left the cabinet as I don't have the room.

Cool, you got the consolation prize! I just got a 301 and recently gave it a cleanup with cotton balls and gojo...now to try sewing.

She does need to be cleaned and oiled, I will get to that later today. I will try to get a pic posted. I think I paid a little to much. Really wished I had gotten the cabinet too:(

You won the prize! The 301 is a much better machine than the FW. Gear driven so it's stronger, feed dogs drop if you want, weight is very close and they sew like the FW. I got rid of my FW in favor of the 301. Congratulations.

Here she is, all cleaned up, and she sews beautifully.

I looked up a manual and printed out the oil points, and greased the gears. I now need to print out the bobbin winding directions. She (still working on a name), will joined her little sister Lizzie.
