Disappointed in current sewing project

Yes we have all been there and the advice to put it aside is a good one. Give some space and come back to it. I like more colour in it but the dark one is a little too dark for me and it is too flat as a colour so stands out. It may be better in a patterned fabric. Also a quilt changes so much at each stage. If it is going to have a border around it that will change it immensley so continue when you can and keep posting pics.
