hmm...I see what you mean. Have you tried shifting the blocks into different configurations (even if it doesn't match the pattern layout)? Good luck!

I have all the blocks made and spread it out on the floor and I don't like it at all! I thought it might be the color of the setting triangles around the outside edge so I went and bought new fabric for that and replaced them but I still don't like it. It is absolutely beautiful!!! Love it best with the light colored triangles -- don't stop now! Post the next pic when it's done.

Yes we have all been there and the advice to put it aside is a good one. Give some space and come back to it. I like more colour in it but the dark one is a little too dark for me and it is too flat as a colour so stands out. It may be better in a patterned fabric. Also a quilt changes so much at each stage. If it is going to have a border around it that will change it immensley so continue when you can and keep posting pics.

I like the second one best - maybe try all dark pink... & see if you like it better. otherwise as has been suggested by others - finish it & donate it

I like both of the pics but the second one a little more. The quilt is pretty and has nice fabric.

I have put projects away (for years) just to get it out again and really enjoy finishing it. If it really bothers me after a length of time, I gift or give it to charity. Anything so I don't have to see it any more!
