bought the card from amazon and it worked like a charm. My battery lasts longer and I can use any app from the android market or amazon's android app store.

ohhh nice, I've got a kindle for my books but am getting a tablet for xmas, the nook colours I don't think are over here yet. Have you checked out the sewing/quilting apps, some of them are very handy, I love them on my phone which runs the same software as your card.

Awesome! I work at a wireless store and one of my co-workers has a nook color. I tried to convince her to convert it but she didn't want to try. I'm glad it's working out for you :)

The nice thing about this method is that it doesn't affect the original Nook Color OS at all. So it's not like the typical rooting. It is all on the card and you can boot to the Nook or Android from the card-so you don't have to remove it to use the Nook as a Nook. What I love is that I can use this to read my Kindle books without having to convert them like I did before, and so far the reading on this (page turning and bookmarking) works out so much better on the android platform.
