I like #2, the number of points seem to fit the best.

Depending on the colors you choose? when i studied the samples my first question was wether or not the busy-ness
of the second one would detract from the whole effect of the quilt and make the corners to "heavy" looking. I am leaning towards the first view which I think accents the corner without overpowering the whole quilt, IMHO.

When I saw the first one, I thought it was great. Then I saw the second one and I thought it was even greater. Greatest will be when fabric replaces the paper design in either choice.
