An absolutely heart touching tribute to be sure. It sounds as if you have a myriad of "Memory Days" that will eventually take the place of the sadness that fills your heart right now. So sorry for your loss.

I share your pain as I too have "lost" a horse.

Your poem was beautiful to a very beautiful Horse. Made me cry. I am so sorry for your loss. He'll be waiting for you by the oak tree.

Beautiful poem for dear Strutter.

He was much loved, what more can an animal want, no doubt he returned that love tenfold, you will miss him I know, but time will soften the hurt, you will always have him in your heart.

No doubt many a tear will be shed when you think of him and all the wonderful happy times you shared together.

He had a good life, he is at peace now.

Sleep peacefully dear Strutter.

I am trying to write this thru my tears. Always difficult to lose a family pet but sounds like you gave him a wonderful life.

So sorry for your loss of your beloved horse & companion--that was a beautiful tribute to him and your love for him. I am facing that same painful thing in the not too distant future with my beloved Prince Man who is 28 years old. Its so very hard to let them go.
