I would have to say mine is: It is what it is .. cannot change or control it, only try to correct it.
(this refers to my mistakes!LOL)

The complete saying is: "My Mama always said, 'them that can't hear can feel'". This saying can be traced at least 5 generations in my family:)

One of my favorite sayings is:

I won't be wronged
I won't be insulted
I won't be laid a hand on
I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.

(I think this has been credited to John Wayne, but I am not sure.)

Or another one goes something like this, "never make anybody a priority who considers you an option"

A friend of mine that lived to age 96 was always coming up with little sayings. When things were going downhill she would always say:

Life.....you muddle your way through it and then you die.
