B.A.T.S.?? A recent post referred to a member using BATS instead of quilting gloves. She didn't like gloves.
I'm thinking they have to be something like rubber fingers, used by bankers to count money
    Information and thoughts please,

There are several posts about these here on QB. I like my gloves though!

    Thanks auntpi....
visited the site and my only remark is "Yuck"!! I can't imagine any circumstance where I'd use these clunky things. Not my favorite, but I'd rather stick with the gloves. :>)

I can't believe all the things they have out there to buy for quilting! Wish I had thought of some of these. I have gloves too.

Strange, and expensive! What kind of gloves did she try? Machingers are great! They go for about $9. They are very lightweight and snugger than garden gloves. I love mine...they are the best investment I've made among my other quilting gadgets.

I used the gloves purchase at Hobby Lobby with a 40% iff coupon; you can get them with the fingers cut out and I also used "The Fabulous Fabric Glide." I got it from Clotilde early this year when it was on sale.

I visited the site also. Looks like it would make you have finger cramps.

I have the machingers, but I'm not keen on them somehow - they are OK in some ways, but perhaps a little too large for me, even though I measured according to the website. I was also finding it difficult to use scissors when wearing them, even with my ones that have larger finger holes.

I gave in and bought a Sharon Schamber Quilt Halo. Pricey, but works really well for me as I can still feel things, and use my scissors easily. I thought it would be too small, but it isn't after all.

the bats look too cumbersome. you cannot move part of the position like you can with your fingers.

I use the Mr. Clean erase sponges. Bats look like the same thing only thinner and cut with a shape to help get close to the needle. Same Principle. I love my Mr. Clean sponges!!!
