Today I finished our daughter's fireplace opening cover quilt! Hopefully it will help keep some of the cold air out and the warm air in when it's not being used. I enjoyed painting white fabric to make the fire fabric - something new for me to try. She had no idea I was sewing this quilt and was pleasantly surprised!

I don't think I have ever seen a quilt fireplace cover, so clever and you did such a beautiful job.
