Default ORGANIZING BOOKMARKS - I know how!

The other day I posted this question in the QB Help Center, and acidentally in the Chit Chat section (duh) when I meant to post in the Main section.. So, I am posting it here to help others.

I found my bookmarks and made folders, I just could not figure out how to "move" the bookmarked threads into the folders, well....

My daughter figured it out in 3 seconds! (crazy, huh? it's those younger ones for sure!) I will try to explain it....

Go to your bookmarks, to the far right of each thread there is a box - click on it, and this will put a check inside of it.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "selected threads" ( I would think you can do multiple threads at one time if the ones selected are all going into the same folder...ie.. "patterns" or "bindings", or whatever your folders are labelled)

A box will appear....click on "move to folder", then click on "Go"

Folder Name and Subscriptions will appear...click on Subscriptions...all of your labelled folders will appear...click on the folder you want your thread/threads to be moved

Then lastly, click on "move items"

It really is quite simple once you know how to do it. And I think the under 35 crowd can navigate computers and websites very easily because they grew up with computers. Unless you work on a computer, it takes the rest of us longer to figure things out.

Thanks for the information -- if we all help one another, we'll figure this out in no time. I feel sorry about people leaving; I would venture to bet they will soon regret it.

Thanks so much for sharing this information. I am stumbling around the board and learning some things, but I really appreciate when someone shares their "finds". Maybe I need a "Rent-A-Kid". LOL

Thank you Denise to you & your daughter. I've found a few things on my own but as grocifer said if we all share we will figure it out in no time. I know I'll be pleased with myself once I've mastered it.
