Default Harbor Freight blades

Are people still using these for quilting?

I finally made it to HF and bought several pkgs--great price. I came home and opened the first pkg. Had to throw the blades away. The had so many microscopic knicks in the blade edge that they wouldn't cut thru a single layer of fabric with less than 3 passes.

I'd take them back, even carpet cutters need good blades if they wont cut cotton I don't think they would cut carpet! The only time I have had trouble with there blades was the first time I used them put 2 blades in at one time.LOL if I had read the package I'd have seen that they come 2 in a pack! LOL

I've been using these for over a year without a problem but in the last package I had one bad blade. Even with one bad blade I will still keep using them, can't beat the price.

I haven't used them but am about to order some. I hope this is a new and short lived problem...

I got 2 packs of two blades and the hole in the center was too small for the peg on my cutter.
I have another cutter around here someplace, hope they`ll work on that one.

I haven't had any problems with HF blades. Return them to the store if they're defective.

I just got some of these blades a couple weeks ago and haven't tried them. I sure hope that they work because they are so much cheaper than the brand name ones.
