Default I have a problem...

My husband & I work together. Today he came over to my desk and said he had a problem. The debit card he had in his hand (thank you points from a supplier) would need to be used before the end of the year or the dollars would be lost. He didn't have time to use it. I generously offered to help him use it up (ha ha) and attempted to use it tonight on fabric order from Connecting Threads. The card won't work and hubby's gone to a meeting. What a bummer!

Is there a way to check the balance left on the card ? Some of the cards even though they say they are good through XX/XX they start losing value after a period of time has passed since the card was purchased- or after the first use if you don't use it all

Sometimes if you want to use two methods of payment. (ie the balance of one gift card and the remainder on a different card) you have to talk to the vender directly. The web site might not handle partial payments. I have to do this alot with the gift cards the kids get. Especially when they don't use the whole balance.

Thank's to all of you. Dumb me; finally put on my reading glasses and scrutinized the card closely. This Incentive "thank you " card is for "electronic" use only. I tried to use it on-line. Now I'll just have to drive to a quilt shop before end of the year!
