2 Landscape Panels Golden BC
I love my double sided fireplace, but at my sister's B&B they are in bedrooms (decadent) She's now discovered there are privacy issues, so I made her these two panels 40" x 48" that she'll mount in racks to place in front of the gas fire when necessary. We did discuss safety issues and I lined the rear facing the fireplace with Insulbrite (?) the material for oven mitts. I worked from photos she sent. These are views out her windows. They took me one month. They're quite heavy and the framing materials and backing are wool. My private "In joke" is, the back of the Ski Slope is a Herringbone material. There is a lot of detail. I hope it shows up from these photos. I documented their contructon for my sister on my web site. Enjoy.

WOW! ... you've done it again ... outstanding!
did you stop to breathe at all during that month?
A personal chef in residence to prep meals for you?
Are you sending them to them right away? or keeping them for your Guild's Show? Sure would be nice to let the Locals enjoy them first!! (though I doubt that's going to happen!!)
And now I can't help but wonder what you are going to do next?

Well unfortunately I have to send them on ASAP as they are needed and have been paid for. But I will take them to my guild meeting Tuesday night. My Wed. night Fibres Arts group wants to see them finished also. Thank you so much for your enthusiastic support. They were fun but all consuming. I was Thread painting in my sleep.
