I just love to hear the stories -- I wish I had asked more questions when my grandmother gave me quilts. My grandparents were divorced and I don't really know who made them. But I'm guessing my grandfathers mother because of the workmanship and I say that I got my talents from her. I loved my quote step grandmother as my own but her workmanship was much different. And the colors of the quilts trace to the era of my grandfathers mother. Wow I really chatted along here.
Thank you for sharing !

So neat being able to look at all those antique quilts. I loved looking at the fabrics.

the story of these quilts should be documented. It would give more meaning to the quilt and to the family.

What a treasure! Those teeny tiny little triangles in the one are amazing.
