Hi, this is backwards because I posted to a thread before introducing myself!! I am sorta new to machine quilting. Back when Robbie Fanning wrote a book called, I think, Machine Quilting, I attempted to make a log cabin wall hanging. I had been sewing for a good while and since i hate hand sewing, I thought I would give it a try. I mean really....how hard could it be? Well needless to say, it took me this long to attempt it again!! That was before rotary blades, etc and what you did was trace around a template and then match up the drawn lines with pins etc. Anyway, that was it for me. With that method it would have been easier to hand piece it, I think....
