I like the pieced border, but I would put a narrow row of the yellow first to break it up from the main quilt.

I love the quilt. I like the pieced, scrappy border, but I would also use narrow solid borders inside and outside of that. Probably medium blue

I really like the pieced border. The yellow alone is overpowering (IMHOP) although a narrower strip of yellow would work.
Except for the pale green, it looks like most of the fabrics are small patterns/calico. . .
I love the combination of squares and Sunbonnet Sue.

wow...its beautiful. I wish I had that many 30's fabrics! I love the pieced boarder. Can't wait to see it finished.
