I too was thinking this is just to beautiful to put under a plant and I agree it looks just super perfect with the orchid. Can you tell us the pattern. I want to do this to. And I cannot forget to mention your beautiful quilting O my I just love it.

I love this and am inspired to take a look at my leftover blocks. Good idea. In fact, a great way to practice doodling. I need to try this. Thanks for posting.

Gorgeous quilting on a lovely orphan block! I make seasonal "plant mats" for my christmas cactus. I have only the one plant so it gets special treatment!

Too funny, Deb. I am actually running across quite a bit of my own stuff on Pinterest when I am searching for inspiration...I was so surprised the first time, that I had to show my DH right away. LOL.

Sandy~Yes, I do my FMQ on a regular straight stitch sewing machine. I have a Juki TL98Q, and in my opinion, the stitch quality cannot be beat!
