the best prices are for jelly rolls and layer cakes???

craft town fabrics has them for 20% off all the time, and you get good service!

I am thinking quilter's warehouse had some. There is the close out sales at coltilde too.

Prices vary often in many of the online shops. You could check Quiltshops.com Check out the weekly specials, sign up for email newsletters, etc. I get tons of ads and many of them have great sales.

I recently got some Tonga Batik strip packs from Fat Quarter Shop for about $20. I've seen them up to about $35-42 lately. I wish I had bought more! Ebay is another place I've gotten some...you have to be careful to check the quantity of strips though. Sometimes it won't be the standard 40-42 strips.

Exactly. In fact, Green Fairy is having a sale right now on a bunch of stuff. I order from both places & can attest to good service & good quality.
