Default Quilt Of Valor by Mark Lipinsky

I watched the wonderful program on PBS and fell in love with this quilt. It is in the current issue of Fons and Porter. I had templates to make the Drunkards Path block from another quilt.

This was not really hard to make and really a fun project. I did get a little bored using the same red throughout the quilt.
I plan on making another with lots of different reds.

This will go off to Afghanistan through Quilts Of Valor.

I quilted it on my used HQ from the front using swirls. I have one of the original machines bought through Craig s List...plain Jane--no SR or any add ons. She does good work.

I see the photo just fine and it is a beautiful quilt! I really like the pattern and the colors. What a great thing for you to do! I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated.
