baking and quilting; my two favorite things. miserable cold and icky today; spent my day smelling fresh rolls and working furiously on the baby quilts for the hospital donation. more pictures to follow very soon!

It is raining here, so I made home-made vegetable soup and pound cake for my dh who spent the day hanging sheet rock in the Habitat house. I didn't work on any quilts today, but did start knitting a scarf I want to give a friend for Christmas 2013!

I can feel that winter cosiness from here! Isn't it wonderful to be warm and creative inside in bad weather? Time seems to slow down.

There is no better smell in the world than yeast breads baking...your rolls look delicious. I can almost taste them. And I love the baby quilts, too.

The only thing that smells as good as home made Bread baking is home made apple pies! Your rolls look so yummy. Love your little quilts, too!
