I have a question for you about the purple squares. Did you quilt in the hoop on individual blocks before putting the quilt together or did you quilt in the hoop after all blocks were together? The reason I ask is because I want to finish a quilt by quilting in the hoop. Mine is already stitched in the ditch and just want to put some nice designs in the "plain" squares. I was told that it would be difficult to do that as the quilt will be too heavy and push the hoop down which apparently then will make it hard for the machine to move the hoop to stitch the design. So...just wondering how you finished yours, it is beautiful!
