I am new to quilting. I have only made three quilts. My first one was a queen size for my bed. the second was a twin for my grandson and the third was a full for my youngest son who just left last week for a 9 month tour in Afghanistan. I would love advice and techniques and any little secrets that all of you other quilters are using. Right now I am trying to figure out how to use some of my animal panels to make a quilt for my older son. Then I have my two daughters to make quilts for and my other grandson who is 7 months. But I will wait on him so I can make him a twin one. I love quilting. I have taken two classes to learn some of the basics. Would love to make friends and talk to others that love to quilt as much as I do. I don't have anyone around here that does. Thank you and Happy quilting!!! Talesa

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. A great resource for quilting ideas are the Youtube videos done by Jenny Doan for the Missouri Star Quilt Co. For working with smaller panels, I like to find a pieced pattern that kind of suits the panel and put them together. An example would be duck wildlife panels with Flying Geese blocks.
