Default Two baby quilts finished ...

Exciting events coming up this year ... two friends are expecting new grandchildren in their families this year! One family locally and one in New York. I had intended to do the Missouri Star Quilt Company's Periwinkle pattern using the kittens as the center wedge and then using the pink, purple, yellow & white for the remainder of the triangle paper pieces. Well, those of you who bought the template kit know that it didn't work. So I ended up doing a crazy patch quilt since I had already cut out all of the kittens. I really like the way it turned out. The monkey quilt is heading to New York.

Both are very well done. I like your use of decorative stitches on the first one.

Very cute. The decorative stitching on the kitty quilt are a very nice touch.

So cute! I love esp the first one with the kitties. Is there a pattern for it? It looks kind of like it's built like a log cabin block. Love the colors you used too!
