Default Alphabet quilt

Here is an alphabet quilt I made for DGD Jenna back in 2008 when she was four. Used my Babylock embroidery machine, which sadly to say has since bit the dust. I sure miss it. This was my first attempt at attic windows and they are upside down.

It looks great to me. I bet she has learned her abc's from this quilt.

QuiltnNan said what I first thought - that's exactly what it would look like from a child's viewpoint.

They look like rafters to me in that position. So I would call it the rafter pattern. The embroidery is beautiful.

I thought it was the view of attic windows, from outside, standing on the ground, looking up.
