    Default What a great idea

Someone on the board suggested when paper piecing to fold the paper before starting to sew your fabric to it. What a great idea. I have been doing it on one today and it makes it so much faster to do. Thanks to whoever it was posted it.

I've seen that suggestion also - plan on trying it out on a project. Thanks for letting us know it works well.

It's my favorite way of paper piecing, and there's little to no tearing out after!

This is what I do. Also use a stiff card (like from junk mail) to keep the line straight & use it for the same purpose when trimming the seam allowance.

I use a stiff card like what you get in a quilting magazine. Makes it so much easier. Love minnies and this is the only way for me.
