Awwwwhhhh  bless you all for your kind comments!!

To be honest Terri, I really didn't like working on the quilt at all, as the colours are not to my taste, so it makes it hard work, you got to like what your working with haven't you??

Well it has grown on me, but I am not so sure it will last, with all the quilting still to be done and only a month to do it in me thinks I will be hussing and cussing more than ooohhhing and aaaahhhing....  :?

That's a beautiful quilt! And how fantastic that it's an original design - I'm sure they will absolutely love it!

Another good one Izy!!! Did you applique those circles or do you have the circle sewer thingie for your machine? ( I know that is the technical name for it  ). I did buy one of them...have only used it once though.

I love these make up as you go quilts...whose to say you are doing it wrong???

Thanks Patti!1

I used freezer paper, then cut the backing fabric away and used that in the block with the frame and theslightly smaller circle and the same with the little ones. You know I can't bear to waste fabric

That is such a great quilt! Looks so hard to do. I looked at that same fabric for my daughter for the same reason! Great job!
