Default What color is your sewing room?

I am just curious . In the room where you sew, what color is the wall paint? Did you choose it? Like it or feel stuck with it? If stuck, what color would you choose? Why?

I transformed my DD's old room when she moved out in Feb. She had three lime green walls and a purple accent wall. Totally her personality.

i repainted in a soft yellow called Custard Cream by Behr. Absolutely love how cheerful it makes me. Calm and creative.

How about you? I love studying the psychology of color.

I painted my sewing room a soft yellow also. I love it. But I have so many things on the walls (bookcases, dressers, quilts, ruler holders, pattern holders, etc.) that you hardly see the color,

Well, my walls are off white, a color we painted, and my desk and shelves are all oak veneer, but my ironing board cover, quilt on my "lounge chair," quilts in my cat baskets, and quilt on my design wall are all purple and white!! Perfect for me.

My Mom let me paint the walls of my room a light violet when I was growing up, plus she let me dye my bed spread and curtains a deep royal purple. Guess my tastes have never changed.

We just added a room onto our house just for my "sewing cave" - and I painted it a beautiful aqua/turquoise blue! It looks happy and that's exactly why I chose the color!

I considered cream or off-white when I repainted my quilt room a few months ago, but in the end, this is my creative, happy place and I wanted a pretty color on the walls. I went with a soft sage green and I just love it! It is very soothing, but fresh and lively at the same time. I know it sounds contradictory, but somehow it manages to be both!

I am in the LR/DR and the walls were white except for one wall that was dark strips. Well ,I had it painted white but all of my stuff is colorful.............Sewing machine is White and Blue, desk is blond wood, double closet /doors is a soft peach, and built in shelves are white....... I have a flower arrangement that is seasonal. When I try of sewing I read and read.. Hugs

Ours is a pale seafoam green. We wanted neutral to avoid color matching problems with our projects, but in the end we agreed that neutral is just not us. We do have three windows in our room, so we can get enough light to match colors.

Mid-blue here. That's what I chose and am very happy with the color. Just about any blue is my favorite.
