Default Breaking thread

I have a frame and a Grand Quilter. My thread keeps breaking and I only buy the good stuff. Any recommendations?

Need to know exactly what thread you are using in top and bobbin and also what size needle you have in the machine. For starters, this video by Jamie Wallen is really good for setting tensions properly:

Try different thread and see what happens. If both threads break threading or tension.

I always rethread if I have any kind of a problem. Then start eliminating other things.

I would also ask what color the thread is. I recently had this problem with King Tut burgundy thread and So Fine burgundy in the bobbin. After serious frustration, many re threads, I finally called dealer and was told this can happen with "red" and "black" threads because the dying process is so harsh on them. I hope you find a fix to your problem sooner than later

Even the "good stuff" can have a bad batch every now and then. However constantly breaking thread is usually a tension issue. You could also have a burr in you bobbin case that is shredding it. But if that were the case, you would only be able to take a handful of stitches (like 2 to 5) between each break.

I found that Superior Thread So Fine works. I have your set up and struggled with breaking thread for years. Discovered Superior Threads and don't have thread breaking issues any longer..
