Your quilt is lovely and I agree more quilting will make you happier. It has been my experience that when you have an older singer or other types also you do not need a walking foot because the feed dogs are strong enough to pull your quilt through without having to have the top feed also. Make up a sample piece and give it a try but I think you will find it will quilt nicely without a walking foot and especiall if you take your foot off and use it bare needle you'll be able to do a great deal of patterns without turning your quilt all over the place. Be sure you keep your fingers out of the way.

sometime you make a quilt that just doesn't GRAB you like some of the others.
Don't give up hope on this one yet it might just turn out to be the best ever quilt you have made.
Simple QID will look excellent sometimes less is more in quilting.
Good luck I love the fabric choice as well scrummy.

I love it! The colors are very nice.
I'll never quilt without a walking foot again! Have you tried a generic one for your machine? Here's a place I've purchased different accessories from in the past. If you email him, maybe he can assist you in finding one that will fit. http://sewingmachine221sale.bizland....ore/index.html
