Default (Which way is up?) Recent Finishes --bits of "this and that"

I decided to work on some of the projects laying around in my sewing room. These are what I finished in the last couple of weeks.
I am having a hard time deciding which is up on the Dahlia piece. What do you think?

The second quilt is our guild's challenge quilt for this year. It is made from 2/5" squares done in the 10 minute block" and it is a challenge to do the block with such small squares. We purchased a bag with 150 different purple fabrics squares (this is a big birthday year for our university and their colors are purple and white/silver.) I did mine as a QAYG.

The last one was done from scraps--I needed a couple more blocks and when I got the quilt put together I realized they were not like the rest! Oh, well, that's the way it goes!

I would need a closer look to be sure, but the dahlia looks upside down as posted. All, though, whichever way you look at them, are beautiful. Is that a frond design dahlia?? They have such vibrant colors.

They are all beautiful, the dahlia I think a quarter turn to the right so as the sunset is at the top. JMHO.

I agree. The dahlia needs a turn. They are all wonderful.
