Default What Happens When You Leave a Cat and a Dye Bath Unattended!

I figure Cole wanted under the towel and ended up pushing the bin off the washer! He looked at me as if to say, "What?! You left it there!" Thank goodness for tile floors and plastic bins! The silks were the end results which turned out simply beautiful!

From your heading, I was sure Cole had gotten the dye all over himself! The dye looks much better on the silk, not Cole.

Bad kitty! I hope it came off the grout but the silk came out beautiful.

I don't envy you that clean-up! I hope everything came out OK. Having 3 of those curious creatures I know the trouble they can get into,

Holy wow!!!

I have five cats. I could never even attempt dying anything. One knows how to open my folding door to the bathroom and three of them are obsessed with my bathroom.

Worst thing is my ironing/cutting table is in front of a window so they claim that as a lounger when I'm not using it. I keep a lint roller next to my table so I can clean up their fur.

Your silk is beautiful and so is your kitty. Hope you were able to get your tile clean. I think my kitty must be afraid of heights, she never leaves the floor, won't even get on the furniture. I put her on the foot of my bed at night to sleep, she will jump down, but never tries to jump up.

I hope you weren't in a hurry to go somewhere. LOL

I tried one dying project, what a mess and I was outside. The dye cost me more then I could have bought the fabric dyed to the color I wanted.

The tile cleaned up in a snap. The dyes only stick to silks and fibers! I did use old towels and now I have the prettiest old towels in towne!!!!
