Default Gourmet Coffee

My neighbor was visiting DH this morning and accepted a cup of coffee when I was making a cup for myself. He said it was the best coffee he has had in years. He wanted to know the brand. DH laughed and said it's her original brand known to no one. LOL My can of coffee has every sample, left over other cans of coffee, espresso grind, small packages of the grocery store coffees, gourmet coffees all combined in one. I have no idea what is all in the can. When one container is about gone it goes in my can. I use a Keurig single cup maker and I fill my own pod. The neighbor took some of my coffee home before it was gone, never to be made again.

Oh I've been so bummed because every single dang store in my area has stopped carrying my favorite brand of coffee. I can buy it online, but the price skyrocketed from $6.99 a pound to $12.99 about 3-4 years ago, which is why all the stores dropped it, I guess. I haven't been happy with any of the coffees available locally since.

For plain one brand coffee I buy Cafe Bustelo. Still comes in a metal can.

This is such a neat idea because I buy "fancy" coffee every so often when it is on close out. Now I will combine. Thanks!

I'm glad to see someone else mixes up their coffees. I get some of Gevalia's special flavors and when I find its not to my liking, I'll put 1 spoonful in with my regular coffee to get rid of it. Can't see throwing it away at the prices of coffee these days. So by mixing it up, it just gives a little bit of the flavor without overpowering it. Works for me and I've had no complaints from those that have drank it.
