Very pretty quilt. I am not surprised you quilt inspector thinks it's hers. She looks gorgeous on it! My quilt inspector also thinks my quilts are hers, especially when I am turning the binding over to the back side of the quilt and hand sewing it. No matter how small or big it is, she HAS to sit on it. And if I maker her move to continue with the binding, she lets out a big sigh, hops down and waits for me to settle so she can jump back on. It's her duty to make sure a quilt is comfy and warm! LOL!

I haven't backed one with Minkee but I use fleece for backing all the time. I don't quilt it a lot, as it won't shift or bunch like batting (usually just quilt a few lines in each direction to hold it all together) but it moves OK under the needle. You might want to try that sometime.....

Lovely quilt. My two inspectors keep the pieces pressed (lay on them) and supervise the pieces being sewn (block their movement) BUT they never point out the mistakes!

If a quilt is not Kitty Approved, It will be hid in a closet. LOL.. Love both Kitty and Quilt.
