Default chevron quilt with three colors

Has anyone made a chevron quilt with just three colors? I am thinking about that, but I am wondering if it would look okay. I am thinking of blue, orange, and white.

I have googled it and found many pictures of chevron quilts, but there don't seem to be many with 3 fabrics. Just trying to visualize before I commit myself to cutting fabric. Hmmm, maybe time to pull out my colored pencils and graph paper.

Thanks for any input though.

Dina

Oh dear, you know me too well! Every once in a while, though not often, I need to sew something not purple. It is rare though.

Let me see if I can attach a picture of what I am playing with. Just playing at the moment.

I think it looks pretty.

If I were doing that (me and triangles hate each other lol) I would probably have the blue and orange separated by the white rather than together but that's only because I'm a weirdo like that.

I love the idea of blue, orange, and white. It's fresh and modern looking. Your practice fabric looks great!

I will play with that idea. Thanks.

make a sketch on paper and have fun coloring it in. the white is crisp enough to not look muddy. go for it and show us when you've got it done
have fun

I would like it better if white seperated the blue and orange as suggested before - jmho. Good colors though.
