Free Quilt Gallery Event in Littleton, Colorado
#1
If you live in or near Littleton, Colorado you may want to stop by the Littleton Historical Museum. It is sponsoring "A Quilter's Craft: Marie Agnes Conway Retrospective. The exhibit will be available until Sunday, March 16, 2014. I stumbled upon it accidentally this morning when a friend (also a quilter) and I took my 4 month old GD for a walk. The museum also includes two working farms, a working blacksmith shop, live animals and many more delights. The best part it is free. The quilts are beautiful and the setting is unique and pleasant. There are 20+ quilts. I had a wonderful time. If you live in the area and want to spend an hour or two looking at beautiful quilts in a small museum and take a walk in a beautiful park, I highly suggest you take the trip.
