    Default "Quilt" magazine

Does anyone know about the magazine. Is it still publishing? No new issue since Oct/Nov. I still have an active subscription, but haven't heard anything from the publisher. Has anyone heard anything?

No, there should have been a new issue out. Their website states that they're not taking any new subscriptions (print).

Try contacting the magazine directly. They usually have an "800" number somewhere near the table of contents. It's usually where they list the editor, sales dept., etc. The folks at the 800 number should be able to help.

I read on QB that they will be going to a download format next year? I don't know if they will still publish a paper copy?

When somebody mentioned it on this board over a month ago I emailed them and this is the response I got. I would have thought they would have the courtesy to send out something to subscribers, but I haven't seen anything.

Thank you for your email to Quilt. This is correct, we will be suspending the print publication of Quilt Magazine effective with the October/November 2013 issue. We look forward to a potential re-launch in Spring of 2014. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Thank you for your interest in Quilt Magazine.

    Sincerely,
    Amanda Sten

I would ask them for a partial refund if you subscription isn't up. They should contact their subscribers and compensate for the issue you will not be receiving

I just got off the phone with the subscription dept. They informed me that they have ceased publication and are in the process of issuing refunds. I asked why they hadn't notified their subscribers and she said that is why they are issuing refunds. (Not really an answer to my question). I enjoyed that magazine too.

I also have an active subscription and have had no new issue since Oct/Nov. In the past, I was missing a magazine and called customer service. I was told the issue was mailed to my address, but may have been lost in transit. I received a credit for an extension of one issue. I will have to call once again to inquire about the Dec/Jan issue.

Maybe I am just getting too old to learn new things, but if they are going paperless, how does one copy the applique patterns??? I still buy paperback books at Walmart for 25% off list price but if you buy them online, they are charging full price. Just doesn't make sense.
